Our in-person S2C sessions focus on teaching the purposeful motor skill of pointing to letters so that nonspeaking individuals can access reliable communication. Each session is tailored to the speller’s pace, strengths, and goals, building the motor pathways needed to move from isolated pointing toward fluent expression.
During these sessions, we also offer Communication and Regulation Partner (CRP) training. CRPs — often parents, caregivers, or support staff — learn how to best support the speller through coaching in regulation, positioning, prompting, and communication strategies. This ensures that skills practiced in session are carried into daily life, helping the speller grow in independence and confidence.
Our goal is for every session to be a safe, encouraging space where the speller’s voice is honored, and their partners are empowered with the tools they need to support communication.
Our virtual S2C sessions bring the power of communication support directly to your home. Using secure video conferencing, we guide spellers in practicing the purposeful motor skill of pointing to letters while ensuring the environment feels familiar and comfortable.
Virtual sessions also provide the opportunity for Communication and Regulation Partner (CRP) training, equipping parents, caregivers, and support staff with strategies to foster regulation, offer effective prompting, and carry over skills between sessions.
These online sessions are flexible, accessible, and designed to ensure that every speller and their partners feel supported, connected, and empowered — no matter where they are.
Our virtual group sessions create a supportive online community where spellers and their Communication and Regulation Partners (CRPs) can learn, grow, and connect together.
Each 8-week session explores a variety of fun and engaging topics while giving spellers the chance to practice purposeful motor skills in a group setting. The group format allows participants to encourage one another, celebrate progress, and see that they are not alone in their communication journey.
These sessions are designed to be interactive, encouraging, and empowering, fostering both communication skills and a sense of belonging.
